About Peter Chen
Peter Chen is the Head of Frontier AI & Robotics at Amazon, where he leads a lab focused on pushing the boundaries of general-purpose AI and robotics. Previously, he was the CEO and Co-founder of Covariant, a leading AI robotics company that built foundation models for robotics and secured over $350M in committed capital. Chen is a former Research Scientist at OpenAI and holds a Ph.D. in EECS from UC Berkeley, with over 30 academic papers published in top AI and machine learning journals.
