Hoak Breedlove Wesneski was a boutique investment bank in Dallas recognized as one of the top 25 technology investment banks in the country by Red Herring magazine in the 90s. Representative transactions include the IPO for Internet America, private placement for RX.com, and the merger of STB Systems with 3DFX Interactive.

Hoak Securities was a boutique investment bank started by Jim Hoak, founder of Heritage Cable, Heritage Media, and Hoak Capital. Hoak Securities merged with another Dallas boutique firm to become Hoak Breedlove Wesneski & Co., a leading Southwest regional institutional investment bank.
